I Know You

I had been dating a man for a few months and he always had a wall up. I sent him this poem after a very deep conversation. His response was WOW. I asked of course, "Good wow or bad? Did I scare you off?" To which he responded, "No, not at all."

This same man that I loved very much took his own life last week. I know something good will come out of this. The only thing I can think of right now is he is no longer in pain. Mental, physical, and emotional pain. I remember our first date. We talked for almost 7 hours. We even had to change locations because the first closed. It was great conversation with no taboo topics. He brought me out of my shell and let me love again. For that I am grateful.

I've known my boyfriend for almost three years now. We just started dating in November 2017, so we've been together for about 7 months. We met on the Internet, but he's on the other side of the country. It's like pure heaven for the both of us! But lately I've felt like he has no interest in me anymore. He never talks to me and goes away for long periods of time. I love him so much, but I don't think he loves me. I miss him so much.

I was with a man I love very deeply. I had three kids to someone else before I met this man. We got together and were together for two years then had a baby that he wanted to have. Then after he found out the baby was a girl he started telling me the baby wasn't his. And he started disrespecting my kids. I have two kids that are disabled. He began showing favoritism to only one. I got tired of all his BS and left when I was 7 months pregnant. I moved into my parents' house. He was upset because he couldn't control me anymore. Then after the baby was born in August, he signed the birth certificate and swore to God he was a changed man and he wanted his family back. I'm not going to lie, I want to believe he's a changed man, but I never did move back in but spend nights together off and on. We did things as a family, and I really thought he changed until one day he got mad because I was on my phone on Facebook looking at pictures with my kids.

It's so cute! Reminds me of the time back in fifth grade. We were seatmates, and we talked a lot. Even in class we talked a lot, even when the teacher was right in front of class. We didn't become more than just friends, but this is exactly what happened. We don't talk anymore, though. Even though we're separated now, I still consider us friends. And I hope he does, too.

I love my boyfriend. It's been 2 years of togetherness in a long distance relationship. I never knew that we would turn into such a pure relationship from being just friends. We do fight a lot and do not always talk to each other, but in the end we get to the same page and we cannot live without each other. I really love my boyfriend.

It's very nice to hear this, but my problem is that I tried to show him how much I love him but all he does is to criticize me. That's why am looking for some words I can use to make him fall apart because it's seems like am talking to someone who is on top of the mountain while am standing under the basement, but God will wipe my tears. I really did like this poem because my boyfriend and I really do love each other like. He will write me a paragraph about how much he loves me and how much he cares about me and that he won't even want to let me go and that I am his queen no matter what goes down. He is my world, my heart, my best friend, and I love him with all my heart. He is my king and I'm his queen 10-3-16.

I have a friend who I'm losing touch with now, she's on a bad streak and we fight a lot, but I just imagined her while reading this and this seems like something she would've told me when she wasn't mad at me. I just wish we could be friends again, and this gave me confidence to fight for it a bit more even if she won't, and if it must be, move on with the good memories.

This is exactly what happened between my boyfriend and I, he and I were best friends but I had a crush on him. He didn't know well I at least hope he didn't know but after a messy break up I was there for him and he later developed his feelings for me. I was soooo happy. He then asked me out and we have been dating for almost a year and a half!!!!

This so reminds me of my boyfriend especially the part about being more then friends, Over the past three years my now so perfect boyfriend was my best friend, he has helped me through a lot and even though I really liked him I could never imagine he would be with someone like me, even when he asked me one day would I want to be with him I was sure it was a joke but after a while of astonishment I said yes, of course!
Now he's my best friend and boyfriend, he knows everything about me, all my flaws and imperfection and he is as how this poem describes 'a boy so caring and gentle', we have only been together for just over 3 months now but he's my rock, my savior and I shall never leave his side.
He makes me happy in a way no one ever could.

This fits perfectly with my relationship with my boyfriend Josh. It's like we've known each other our whole lives. We finish each other's sentences, he knows when I'm upset. I can tell when he's happy.. or not, even when we aren't talking. We can tell what the other is going to say, or how they'd respond to a certain situation. We talk about the future. And I know he's going to be with me forever.

This poem reminds me of my boyfriend we have been together for a year now and he's already proposed to me I said yes of course. We met when I was a sophomore in school and since then I felt like I could tell him anything, all my secrets that I wouldn't tell No One because they wouldn't understand but when I was a junior, we got to know each other a little bit more and as time went on I started to fall in love with him even more. Sometime's I would think "does he like talking to me or does he like me the same way I like him?" at first I was so confused that I didn't want to really get to close to him cause I didn't want to get my heart broken but I'm glad I took the chance cause now we're engaged and living together and we're really happy together!!!

Hi, This Poem Is Awesome. It made me weep for a moment. I think this is what happened with me and my boyfriend.
I've always been hurt by my ex-s. But when Edgar came to my life, I felt alive. I felt like at least somebody understands me. I felt like I've known him all my life and I would never want to let him go. I would share all my secrets with him, and he would always make me smile even if I'm crying. He's far away from me but I know he loves me and I love him too.

This poem honestly makes me think about my boyfriend. We have been together for 2 years and 4 months. :) I don't know what I would do without him he's helped me through so many problems that I've faced in my life. He's helped me with school and my depression. I love him to pieces and he treats me so right. He treats me as though I'm his little princess. I hope that we never break up and I do really hope that someday we end up getting married. My story is the same here. I write poetry and this guy I have known less than a year is my boyfriend. We are that perfect for each other. It started out as only being friends then I got to know him more and realized he was the one. We have nicknames for each other and we text each other everyday and well now we are together. We had some quarrels but, nothing serious and all I can say is I love him.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 1 year. Our anniversary is on the 13 of December, the day after his birthday. Before we started dating I had lived next door to him for about 8-years until finally this last year I took notice of the short scrawny boy who had grown a good 6-inches and gained quite a bit of muscle over the summer. I realized one day, on the bus ride to school sitting across from him that he was extremely attractive. From that day on I was infatuated...and bugged him so much until I made sure I was the only girl he was associated with and was going to date. We were in love...I knew I was so lucky to be with a guy like him. But good things don't always last the way you'd like them to. About three months into our relationship my little 4 year-old sister was diagnosed with medulla blastoma (an aggressive form of brain cancer) and well living in Longview, the hospitals weren't so reliable with their chemo treatments. Our only choice was to move to Vancouver.

I'm a very poetic person and this made me happy but it made me feel completely cheesy and giddy when my best friend read this to me. :)
I've known him for 3 years and we've been dating for 2. Sadly I'm moving to Oregon till I graduate and then he's going on his mission but he's got hope that I will go unscathed in my life in Oregon and hopes that I can find good friends and such. But I won't be able to see him for 4 years. So this poem when I heard it made me smile and gave me hope that it will work. When I was 15 years old I fell in love with a man who was 19..we got in trouble with the law. But still continued to stay together. When we got in trouble the second time with my parents we couldn't talk for 2 years..except a few phone calls every month. Now that I am 18 and graduated high school, he is working and 22. On my 18th birthday he met my parents and also proposed to me..we are getting married in the fall of 2013..this poem describes everything about our past. I love it.

Me and my boyfriend have only been together for a little over 3 months, but I feel like it has been years. I know him better than anyone else and he knows me just as well. We are so close and nothing will ever be able to separate us. He actually recently proposed, knowing we have to wait until we graduate, but that's how much we care for each other. It may seem like forever now, but we are going to make it forever somehow.

Sometime all you can do is wait to see if the others person heart feels the same ways yours does. And if God has meant for you to be together, you will be. I have learned that I have to wait on God and let him make some of my decisions for me. It is just that this man is the one thing that makes my heart feel whole when I am with him or just when I hear his voice it makes feel like I have all I need. This poem is a perfect description of the relationship that I have, we felt so comfortable with each other from the very beginning. We speak freely with one another, enjoy each others company and now we share love for one another. I have given my heart to him hoping that he will hold it gently like glass forever. I know over time people change they always do. I just hope time doesn't change his feelings for me because of the age gap. I have found the love of my life, thinking I never would. My boyfriend and I have been dating for quite some time now, and I'm starting to think it will last a long time... He treats me like he knows everything and he knows when I'm sad. Everytime I cry he'll hold me close and ask, "What's wrong?" Once, he noticed I was doing something bad to myself... I was cutting myself... He held me close and told me that he was there for me no matter what, so I told him what was going on and he hugged me tight and swayed back and forth slowly... I still remember that day like yesterday... We've been together for three months now and I'm loving it. I never want to let him go, but I know what I must do if he does leave me... If it really loves you, it will come back. If it never had love for you, it will never come back.

It's a wonderful poem. I am reminded of my childhood crushes. The first time I had a crush was when I was in class VI. I had fallen in love with my distant cousin. Then it was a girl in the neighborhood. Then I had fallen in love with another of my first cousins. Finally, I fell in love with a girl who was in my college. But nothing worked into a fast relationship. Ultimately, an arranged marriage with my present wife did the trick. I have come to love her after my marriage. I don't believe that a life partner has to have similar nature to have a happy, loving and married life. As far as a happy marriage is concerned, opposites attract. Are there any takers?
